Resource Results

This screen displays various resources based on your search criteria. You may click on the number list at the top or bottom to jump to more resources.

The Save column allows you to save one or more resources to My Resources, any of your sessions, or even an new session. Simply select an option in the drop down menu and click Do It.

The ID column contains a unique number for a resource. It is a way of record keeping for the Adaptable Instructional Materials system, but it may also useful for you to keep track of similarly named resources.

The Type field will give you an idea of what kind of resource it is.

The Format column shows you an iconic preview of the form of the resource. You may click on the icon to view the resource. If available, the Size column will give you an approximate file size. With this information, you may or may not decide to download a large resource using a modem connection, which may to be too slow.

The Title column gives you the name of the resource, author and brief description. You may click on the title to view more details, including which session have use that particular resource.

If available, the Year column will give you the year in which the resource was created.

Content Area categorizes resources into Literacy, Math and Science. If a resource might be classified in more than one content area, it is identified as *Non-Specific*.

Finally, you may sort resources based on ID, Type, Format, Size, Title, Year and Content Area. Do this by clicking on the appropriate column heading. To reverse the order, click on the header again after the page has reloaded. Keep in mind that when you sort, your found resources be reordered and a resource you are interested may on a different page which you will have to navigate to using the numbered jump list at the top or bottom. Items will continue to be sorted as you jump from set to set.
